Owner Drive Generates $1,570 for Red Hills Small Farm Alliance Receives

On Monday, September 23, 2013, Marketing Manager Cristin Burns presented RHSFA members Claire Mitchell, Louise Divine and Katie Harris with a check for $1,570. This donation was made possible in part by the 157 new owners who joined the Co-op during the Owner Drive September 10-19. New Leaf Market Co-op pledged to donate $10 for every new owner and was thrilled to surpass the new owner goal by more than 55!

The Co-op is a proud supporter of RHSFA and is a sponsor of Seven Days of Local Delights on October 21-27, 2013.  Founded in 2010, the Red Hills Small Farm Alliance is a nonprofit organization working to strengthen our region’s sustainable small farm community by promoting economic stability of small farm enterprises, providing professional farmer development education, and expanding the local food market to all citizens in our area.
