Welcome Back Terrapin!
Welcome back, Terrapin! For some time now we have had very little Terrapin in our beer case, but no longer! We are bringing it back and doing so with a multitude of styles and flavors. Right now we have not only the year-round Hopsecutioner IPA, but also two of their Sessionable Seasonals: MooHoo and Hop Karma. MooHoo is a delicious take on a milk stout. The brewers use cocoa nibs and shells from Olive and Sinclair Chocolate Company to give the beer a sweet, chocolate flavor similar to its namesake. Hop Karma is a head-on collision between a hoppy west coast IPA and a complex malty brown ale. Brewed with five varieties of hops and seve different malts, this hybrid style represents the best of both worlds.
From Terrapin’s Monster Beer Tour series we currently have Oaked Big Hoppy Monster, which is an enormous, 9%ABV, oaked aged, red ale that has generous portions of both hops and malts. Last but certainly not least, we have Mosaic, which is 19th in the Side Project....project. This beer features the newest hops to come out of the Hop Breeding Company LLC in Yakima Valley. You guessed it, Mosaic Hops. Very complex and well, hoppy. Let us know what Terrapin favorite you wanna see and we’ll do our best to get it. In the meantime, enjoy these wonderful examples of some stellar beer!
