Measuring Change
Congratulations to our staff and Mad Dog Design & Construction for building us a beautiful new store, and to you for your patience and continued patronage during the dust and rubble.
As Larrane mentioned in her article, the store has been very well received with 126 shoppers signing on as owners in January. The momentum to join the co-op has never been better. I encourage all of you to talk to your family, friends and neighbors about the importance of shopping locally and supporting their local co-op.
The Board is in the process of completing our final report on the expansion. Part of this effort is in fulfillment of the Board's fiduciary responsibilities to New Leaf Market co-op owners. Additional reasons include measuring the extent to which the expansion achieved its objectives and met our expectations.
