New Website Now Live

Natural Times-September/October 2007

By Cristin Burns

The address hasn't changed but the design is new. New Leaf Market's website (www.newleafmarket.coop) has undergone a dramatic re-design. Visit the site today and enjoy easy navigation, expanded features, more content and a new look.

The new design is loaded with convenient features. You can now update your address, fill out an employment application, become an owner and register for a seminar on-line. Upcoming seminars can be viewed as a list or in calendar form. You can still view archived newsletters dating back to 2002; in addition now you can view individual articles rather than having to download a large PDF file.

Getting to know your Board of Directors is only a click away. Browse scheduled meetings, forums and trainings on the Board calendar, view meeting minutes or learn about committees. If you are interested in running for the Board, check out the Board Candidate Brochure for details.

We are committed to supporting local producers whenever possible and we are very excited to now be able to feature them on our website. Check out our new Producer Profiles section to learn more about our local vendors. You will find brief bios, Spotlight on Local articles and contact information, including website links when available.

After years of envying searchable recipe databases, we now have our very own. You can find some of our most popular recipes on-line and search by recipe name, category and dietary preference. We have big plans for this database and hope to be adding many more recipes soon. If you have original recipes that you would like to share with the Co-op, email Jean Crozier at: jean@newleafmarket.coop. Please include your full name and serving suggestions.

Last but certainly not least, our Issues and Education section provides information about current food topics and food safety. We will use this page to inform you about product recalls and natural foods hot topics.

We hope that you find our site fun and easier to use. Look for expansion updates and a construction photo gallery once store renovation begins.
