2nd Annual North Florida/ South Georgia Farm Tour

Suggested Tours

Since this is a once-a-year opportunity, we encourage you to make a day of the Farm Tour and visit as many farms as possible. To help make this easier we have grouped nearby farms into suggested tours. The travel times listed are estimates and do not take into account any road work or possible delays. Please feel free to create your own tour with the farms of most interest to you. Don’t forget about the outlying farms. They are not included in any of the suggested tours however, they will make great day trips. Most importantly, enjoy yourselves.

Bradfordville & Lloyd Area

Saturday or Sunday tour.

From Tallahassee to Backyard Farm, plan for approximately 30 minutes of travel. Backyard opens at 9 am.

25 minutes travel to Turkey Hill Farm, Turkey Hill does not open until 1 pm.

Turkey Hill Farm
25 minutes travel to Glori Farm, Glori Farm does not open until 3 pm.

Glori Farm
Please arrive no later than 2 pm to allow for tour time.

Monticello Area

Saturday or Sunday tour.

Best on Saturday, however if done on Sunday skip Tupelo’s (they’re closed).

From Tallahassee to Golden Acres, plan for approximately 45-50 minutes of travel. Golden Acres opens at 10 am.

Tupelo’s Bakery & Café (Full Moon & Holly Hill)
6 minutes travel to Green Meadows. Grab a bite to eat for lunch before heading out.

Please arrive by 4 pm.

Thomasville & Moultrie Area

Saturday only tour.

Call Sweet Grass to register for the 8 am tour. From Tallahassee to Sweet Grass, plan for approximately 60-65 minutes of travel.

45-50 minutes of travel to Calathora, tours at 9 and 11 am.

Calathora Farms
15-17 minutes of travel to Sparkman’s

Sparkman’s Cream Valley
56-70 minutes of travel to KBH

KBH Farms
Closes at 4 pm.

Valdosta & Quitman Area

Saturday only tour.

From Tallahassee to Thompson Farms, plan for approximately 80-85 minutes of travel. Thompson Farms opens at 8 am.

45-48 minutes of travel to Dreaming Cow, leave by 9:30 am to make the 10:30 am tour at Dreaming Cow.

Dreaming Cow Creamery
28-30 minutes of travel to Pebble Hill, leave for Pebble Hill by 1:15 pm to make the 2 pm tour.

Pebble Hill Grove
42-50 minutes of travel to FM Guess, leave for FM no later than 3-3:15 pm.

FM Guess Pecan and Produce
Closes at 5 pm.

Madison & Live Oak Area

Saturday or Sunday tour.

If touring on Saturday, skip Full Circle Farms. On Sunday, go for all five farms.

From Tallahassee to JD Enterprises of Brevard, plan for approximately 55-60 minutes of travel. Arrive at JD Enterprises of Brevard by 10 am in order to take the first guided tour. If you don’t make it in time, you are still welcome to stop by.

15-18 minutes of travel to O’Toole’s, try to arrive in time for the noon tour.

O’Toole’s Organic Herb Farm
30 minutes of travel to Abundant Acres, tours top of the hour.

49-52 minutes of travel to Full Circle, tours hourly.

Full Circle Farms
17 minutes of travel to Kurtz and Sons, arrive in time for the last tour of the day at 6 pm.

Open til dark, last tour leaves at 6 pm.

Havana Area

Sunday only tour.

From Tallahassee to Lichgate Community Garden, plan on 10 minutes of travel. Lichgate opens at 10 am.

50-55 minutes travel to Blue Ridge Farm

Blue Ridge Farm
20 minutes travel to Tyre Road. Blue Ridge closes at 4 pm but Tyre opens at 5 pm, take your time in Havana or plan on waiting for the farm to open.
