Mindfulness and Integrative Medicine for Cardiovascular Disease FREE!

April 1, 2014 -
7:45pm to 9:00pm

Class will begin and end with mindfulness instruction and practice. Cardiovascular disease is the number one cause of death in modern societies. In most cases, it is a preventable and reversible disease that is completely within our personal control. This mindfulness class will examine evidence-based lifestyle choices to prevent or reverse cardiovascular disease including high blood pressure, heart attack and stroke. We will focus on a whole life program that is so strongly evidence-based that it is now reimbursable through Medicare. Class content will focus on evidence-based stress management, nutrition and supplements, and how you can make the best choices for you.

Pamela Chamberlynn, MSW, IHCP, MP, is a medical social worker and a graduate of Duke University Integrative Medicine Center as a mindfulness professional and as an integrative health coach professional.
